DF1 Support for Anybus Communicator
Via the Anybus Communicator, HMS now provides easy fieldbus and industrial Ethernet connectivity for industrial devices that have an Allen Bradley "DF1"protocol interface.
Almost any DF1 supported device can now be connected to all major industrial networks and PLC systems.
The DF1 protocol support is provided through the free “ABC Config Tool” software used for configuring the serial sub-network of the Anybus Communicator. No programming skills are required and no changes are necessary at the field device.
